New eLearning portal for delivery to students

DEED has a new eLearning portal with courses designed just for students, called the eClassroom! The courses are not to be accessed by students, but delivered to students using accompanying instructions for teachers.

eLearning support staff is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, except on state recognized holidays. Contact us at eLearning@alaska.gov or (907) 465- 2981 or 465-2304.

If it has been at least two years since your last course completion, please contact eLearning support to reactivate your account.


Mandatory Trainings Required for a Teaching Certificate

The four required courses for certification can be found in the eLearning catalog Teacher Certification Mandated Trainings. You must log in first to access the catalog.

Continuing Education Units

One CEU is now available for eLearners who hold a current five or ten-year Alaska teaching, administrative or special services certificate. Certificated eLearners will earn 1 CEU for 15 hours of eligible coursework completed. Please visit our eLearning CEU webpage for more information and instructions on the process.
